Site Clearing

Site clearing is the first step in any construction project that involves removing any elements on the land that may get in the way of the construction process. This includes shrubs, vegetation, rocks, and other debris. The goal of site clearing is to create a construction site conducive to the project, allowing the construction team to start working on building the actual structure

Over Excavation

If the ground conditions at the level that the below-ground structure will be constructed do not have sufficient stability or load-bearing capacity to support that structure,  excavation must be taken to a deeper, more stable level. After removing the unsuitable material, the ground at the lower level may need to be treated to ensure it has suitable load-bearing capacity, then the excavation back-filled to the required level with suitable compacted fill.

Subgrade Preparation

Subgrade preparation is a critical aspect of concrete slab construction. Neglecting proper subgrade preparation can lead to costly repairs, structural issues, and reduced lifespan of the slab. By distributing the loads evenly, a well-prepared subgrade prevents excessive settlement or differential movement.
